This cream has received a lot of positive feedback, and if the essence was any indication, I had a feeling it would quickly become one of my favorite skincare products.

It is enhanced with 92% filtrate of snail secretion, which drenches the skin in needed moisture. Increased moisture reduces wrinkles and fine lines, giving the skin a healthier, younger appearance. Use it as the final step in your skincare routine.

The COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All-In-One Cream is a thin, translucent gel. When applied to the skin, it absorbs into the skin like any other gel product and immediately dries out. This product shares the slimy, gel-like texture that makes products containing snail mucin so distinctive! On the other hand, this texture makes it so that the product distributes and flows around the face without any issues.

Even though the texture of this cream is different from other creams’, it absorbs and sits on the face exactly like any other gel product. Applying makeup or slathering other skincare products over top hasn’t caused me any issues (e.g. pilling, irritation).

Snail secretion filtrate is without a doubt the cream’s standout ingredient. In particular, Asian beauty uses snails as a frequent and well-liked skincare component. It is challenging to put products on top of this cream because of its tackiness, in my opinion. Due to the fact that it is too sticky to use during the day, I usually only use this as a nightly moisturizer.

Not that it ever dries, though! After some time, the stickiness does go away, leaving a lovely, velvety texture in its place. However, this can be a little impractical on days when you’re in a rush. For me, it takes a little bit too long to dry down and erase the tacky feeling, so in the morning, I typically grab another moisturizer.

Additionally, I believe you would definitely need to use another moisturizer in addition to this if you have REALLY dry skin. It’s great for giving you an immediate hydration boost, but it’s not very good at holding moisture.

It’s great for really hot days when you need something light, so I’ll continue to use it as my summer moisturizer. I believe I’ll require something more substantial for the winter, though!
